Clifford Housley, 81, died at 6:30 p.m. March 28, 2013, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.

He was born May 25, 1931, in Burnwell, W.Va., to Sonny Tightline and Martha Burke, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 7, 1979, he married Magnolia Henderson, who died Dec. 29, 2000.

Mr. Housley retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 1219 and the Free & Accepted Masons.

Survivors include a step-grandchild, Pasha L. Henderson, of Cincinnati; four cousins, Kenneth Franklin Sr., Emma Franklin and Martha Pace, all of Lima, and Karen Carson, of Toledo; and a daughter of the heart, Bertha Boddie.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Marcus R. Henderson.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Earnest Stephens Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church.
