Jack L. Sawmiller, 70, died at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 23, 1937, in St. Marys to Archie J. and Deloris Cotterman Sawmiller, who preceded him in death. He married Janice Eversole, who survives in Celina.
Mr. Sawmiller retired as an electrician. He was an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors also include two sons, Jack (Jane) Sawmiller Jr. and Jason (Tiffany) Sawmiller; 11 daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Hufford, Jeanette Morgan, Jackie (Rick) Chaney, Cheryl (John) Opperman, Mindy Trejo, Delora (Jimmy) Hall, Lena Ames, Delilah (Tony) Toler, Betsy Slavin, Dolly Keller, Holly (Brian) Kaylor; three stepdaughters, Brenda (Terry Zimmerman) Eversole, Leslie Eversole and Laura Eversole; three brothers, Archie (Judy) Sawmiller, Don (Tracy) Sawmiller and Ron (Deb) Sawmiller; and four sisters, Nancy Thornsberry, Melissa (Jerry) Shoffstall, Delores March and Connie Sawmiller.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 17, at the Ohio Bar, Wapakoneta.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
