WESTMINSTER — Louetta Mae Plaugher, 76, died at 7:37 p.m. Nov. 12, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Oct. 10, 1936, in Allen County to Jacob Daniel and Vera Mae Maus Gross, who preceded her in death. On June 30, 1955, she married Harold Leroy Plaugher, who survives in Westminster.
Mrs. Plaugher was a 1954 graduate of Harrod High School. She was a piano teacher for several years and had been the office manager for the Allen County Fair for 20 years, before having her stroke in 1997. She was a life member of Westminster Christian United Church of Christ, where she had been the pianist and organist. She enjoyed music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, David (Laura) Plaugher, of Lima; two daughters, Carrie (Mike) Goff and Tracy (Craig) Fisher, both of Westminster; six grandchildren, Clay Plaugher, Sara Plaugher, Branden (Kati) Harner, Reagan Goff, Ryan Snyder and Kaylee Fisher; two great-grandchildren, Blake Harner and Kelly Harner; two aunts, Cora Goodchild and Bonnie Maus, both of Lima; two sisters-in-law, Zora Masters, of Lima, and Wilma Jean Hartman, of Westminster; and a brother-in-law, Orvin (Vera) Plaugher Jr., of Waynesfield.
She was preceded in death by three sisters-in-law, Gerry (Joe) Lowry, Genevieve (Glen) Regedanz and Pat (Jack) Swaney; and four brothers-in-law, Galen (Hazel) Graymire, Bud Graymire, Foster Masters and Dick Hartman.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. The Rev. Gale Gebhart will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
