Dolores E. Painter, 78, died at 7:40 p.m. June 27, 2013, at the Shawnee Manor.

Dolores was born Aug. 2, 1934, in Waynesfield to Charles and Edith Zimmerman Young, and they preceded her in death. On March 1, 1953, in Waynesfield, she married her high school sweetheart Wilbur Painter, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2010.

She was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Aubrey Mosler.

Survivors include a son, Randall E. (Lynn) Painter, of Cape Coral, Fla.; two daughters, Linda (David) Mosler, of Ada, and Penny (Chris) Bercaw, of Elida; a sister, Mary Lou (Pete) Butorac, of Cridersville; seven grandchildren, Scott Painter, Josh Painter, Sara Andreis, Aaron Mosler, Lindsay Mosler, Ben Bercaw and Nick Bercaw; and nine great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Dolores and her husband, Wilbur, were owners of Painter Tire Service for 42 years, starting out in 1968. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Cummings Grain and Marshall Grain companies. She was a member of Waynesfield United Methodist Church and a graduate of Waynesfield High School.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Waynesfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kathleen Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, and on Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.
