Beverly Jean Stuckey Teeple, of Springfield, formerly of Lima, passed away Dec. 28, 2012.

She was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Van Wert, the daughter of Orval and Marcile Mottinger Stuckey.

She graduated from Lima South High School. She was employed by American States Insurance Co. and was transferred to Springfield in 1981, as a bodily-injury and general liability supervisor. She was a certified professional insurance woman and an associate in claims from the Insurance Institute of America. She was a member of Chapter AZ PEO Sisterhood, Young Womanís Mission, Lagonda Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and Clark County Historical Society. For several years she was a volunteer in the library archives at the Clark County Heritage Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Smith, of Bellefontaine; a brother, Bud Stuckey; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Reneť Carl; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stuckey.

Her remains will be cremated. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family is being served by Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, Springfield.
