GlandorfKimberly A. Schmenk-Langhals, 46, died Oct. 10, 2011, at her residence.She was born Sept. 29, 1965, in Lima to John F. and Joan Behrns Schmenk. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Glandorf. Mrs. Schmenk-Langhals was a computer teacher in the Sci-Tech Magnet program at Lima City Schools. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and was a renew leader for the parish. She was a 1983 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, a graduate of The Ohio State University and received her master's degree from the University of Findlay. She was a Girl Scout leader for Troop 484 and a former Cub Scout leader for Pack 229. She loved spending time with her children and granddaughter and attending their sporting events. While growing up she enjoyed helping her parents at the Town Pump, Glandorf. She always opened her home to everyone.Survivors also include four children, Rachael Langhals, J.J. Langhals and Arianna Langhals, all of Glandorf, and David Langhals, of Columbus; a granddaughter, Audri Langhals; close friend, Jay Miller, of Glandorf; a sister, Shari (Ken) Warnecke, of Kalida; a brother, Michael (Christiane) Schmenk, of Marysville; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Martin Langhals, of Ottawa.Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Father Tony Fortman will officiate. Burial will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Ottawa.Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a parish rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for Arianna.Condolences may be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com.
