BEAVERDAM ó Peggy A. Amstutz, 74, died at 3:22 p.m. July 29, 2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.


She was born March 25, 1939, in Allen County to the late Morris and Martha Dunlap Lewis. On June 30, 1957, she married Robert Amstutz, and he survives.


Peggy was a homemaker and had worked at Family True Value Hardware, Bluffton. She was a member of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora. She was an auxiliary member of Gideonís International. She enjoyed meeting with the Coffee Club, sporting events, attending the fair and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Beaverdam High School.


Survivors also include a daughter, Tammy (Delmer) Nuzum, of Beaverdam; two sons, Greg (Judy) Amstutz and Tim (Sondra) Amstutz, both of Beaverdam; a sister, Kim (Larry) Lambert, of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Barb Lewis, of Toledo.


She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lewis; and an aunt, Alice Cross.


Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora. Pastor Lynn Thompson and Pastor Dave Stratton will officiate.


Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice.
