SPENCERVILLE — Peggy S. “Peg” Lies, 51, died early April 5, 2013, in her home after a sudden illness.
She was born July 13, 1961, in Lima to Carl H. “Goldie” and Catherine A. Nuss Lies Jr. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Spencerville.
Ms. Lies was employed by Physiatry Associates, Drs. Mary Ann Myers and Bradley J. Marzec, of Lima, as their secretary and billing agent.
Survivors also include two nephews, Jason K. (Tonya Storer) Lies and Justin D. Lies, both of Rockford; her special friend, Pete Seiling, of Spencerville; two aunts, Ruth Thompson, of Cridersville, and Helen Nuss, of New Knoxville; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Eugene “Groundhog” Lies; an infant brother; three uncles, Earl Thompson, Paul Nuss and Winfred Nuss; and four aunts, Lenora McName, Lola Jean Miller, Emily Nuss and Annabelle Nuss.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. The Rev. David W. Howell will officiate. Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
