Police calls for Thursday, July 24

Police calls as of 1:30 p.m. July 24 from Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima Police Department:

3240 Elida Road, Lima - An employee at Meijer reported on Wednesday afternoon that an individual wrote checks on a closed account under another person's name.

420 East Main Street, Beaverdam - On Wednesday afternoon, an employee at Flying J Travel Plaza reported an individual pumped fuel and left without paying.

100 block of West 14th Street, Lima - A woman reported on Tuesday morning that an individual took money from her mother to fix the roof on her house and never performed the work.

1000 block of North West Street, Lima - On Wednesday afternoon, a 37-year-old man reported a 25-year-old man threatened to shoot and kill him.

500 block of Hazel Avenue, Lima - A 28-year-old woman reported on Wednesday morning that her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend threatened her.

200 block of North Metcalf Street, Lima - Early Thursday morning, officers were called to Pager Depot on a burglary alarm. The owner told police someone broke in and stole 18 cell phone pouches from the business.

200 block of South Pine Street, Lima - A 48-year-old man who owns Kings Korner reported early Thursday morning that a man broke into the store and stole a 12-pack of beer, several cartons of cigarettes and $5 in employee tip money.

900 block of Richie Avenue, Lima - Early Thursday morning, a 49-year-old woman reported her estranged husband, a 47-year-old man, threatened to kill her.

500 block of Woodward Avenue, Lima - A 35-year-old woman reported on Wednesday evening that her 9-year-old son let a 13-year-old boy ride his bike. When the younger boy asked for the bike back, the older boy punched him in the mouth.

700 block of South Main Street, Lima - On Wednesday afternoon, a 60-year-old man reported someone cut all four tires on his 2007 Hyundai Sonata.
