Police calls for Tuesday, Dec. 20

Police calls as of 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20 from the Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima PoliC Department:
523 N. West St., Lima — Sometime between Friday and Monday, someone broke into St. Rose Catholic School and stole a laptop, computer bags, picture frame, keyboard and candy. The person broke a window to enter the building.
131 E. North St., Lima — Police were called to the Imperial Inn at 8:53 p.m. Monday when a 38-year-old woman said a 41-year-old man struck her. The woman said the man was drunk and hit her on the head. She had a cut on her head that medics treated. She had also been drinking and couldn't remember how he hit her, she said, but she responded by throwing chicken at him and leaving. The man told police the woman is on crack and was throwing things around the room and hit herself with a lamp. Because of the conflicting stories, police made no arrests and advised the two people about how to file charges.
2200 block of Lakewood Avenue, Lima — A 59-year-old woman called police after an unknown man entered her home while she was away Tuesday afternoon. The woman's 92-year-old mother was in the home at the time. The man did not harm anyone and did not steal anything.
500 block of Hope Street, Lima — Police arrested a 22-year-old man at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday after they approached an occupied car behind an apartment building. They also put a bag of marijuana into evidence.
4500 block of Mecklin Road, Cridersville — Deputies took a juvenile into custody when a 52-year-old woman called to report the juvenile refused to leave the residence. The woman also reported the juvenile was watching another juvenile through her bedroom window.
9105 Harding Highway, Harrod — A 39-year-old man reported that someone had entered Allen East School over the weekend and flooded a sink in the chemistry room, causing damage to the desks and floors.
