Conservation Tillage breakfast program set in Mount Victory

MOUNT VICTORY
The second Conservation Tillage breakfast program for the season will be held Tuesday at the Plaza Inn in Mount Victory.
George Derringer, NRCS Resource Soil Scientist, and Dave Brandt, a long-time Ohio conservation farmer, will discuss cover crops. Discussions will be held about the importance of protecting the soil nutrients and keeping them from becoming an environmental problem. These soil experts will discuss the various benefits and potential issues of the most popular cover crops.
A buffet breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program at 8 a.m.
