Vantage holds open house

Vantage Career Center will hold an event to allow seventh- and eighth-grade boys to learn about careers in health technology. The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 28. A light breakfast, lunch and T-shirt will be provided.

The school will also hold its annual open house and dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Attendees will get an update on the construction project, meet teachers, see the newly renovated labs, and take a tour of the completed areas.
College representatives from University of Northwestern Ohio, Wright State University, Owens Community College, Rhodes State College and Northwest State College will be available to answer questions. Vantage adult education officials will also be on hand.
A pulled-pork sandwich dinner will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 with proceeds benefitting Citizens for Vantage. Drive-thru and carryout are available.
