Police calls for Tuesday, March 16

Police calls as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Lima Police Department:

2051 N. West St., Lima — Late Monday, an employee at Circle K reported an 18-year-old man stole a bottle of wine from the business.

1452 N. Cable Road, Lima — A 22-year-old man reported early Tuesday that he was assaulted at Harry’s Hideaway.

800 block of East Second Street, Lima — On Monday, a 23-year-old man reported someone broke into a house he is working on and stole a countertop.

300 block of Calumet Avenue, Lima — Officers reported on Monday that they heard gunshots in the area of Calumet Avenue and Linden Street.

1000 block of Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima — On Monday, a 19-year-old woman reported someone broke into her car and stole a laptop computer, radar detector and various items of clothing.

1000 block of Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima — A 48-year-old man reported on Monday that someone stole a trailer containing an electric scooter from his yard.

300 block of South Pierce Street, Lima — On Sunday, a 27-year-old man reported someone broke into his house and stole a computer, printer, television, Nintendo Wii, video camera, and a Playstation 2.

6600 block of Stadler Road, Lima — A woman reported late Monday that her boyfriend threatened her.

200 block of West Market Street, Lima — On Monday, a deputy reported that an individual tried to pay a child support obligation with a counterfeit bill.

2400 Elida Road, Lima — An employee at Sears reported on Monday that an individual tried to steal an item from the store.

8200 block of Ottawa Road, Elida — On Monday, a man reported someone broke into his garage and stole an all-terrain vehicle.
