Rhodes State administrator is presidential candidate in Texas

The vice president for academic affairs at Rhodes State College will be in Brownsville, Texas, today for a public forum as a presidential candidate at Texas Southmost College.

Roberto Gutierrez, who has been at Rhodes State for two years, has worked in faculty and administration positions at a total of five different colleges, according to the Brownsville Herald newspaper in Texas.

The forum will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Gorgas Board room at the campus. Gutierrez is a board member of the United Way of Greater Lima and a member of the West Central Ohio Tech Prep Consortium, a partnership of educators and representatives of regional business, industry and labor.
