Western store plans to close its doors
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ELIDA - Cars are lining up down the road today for a chance for people to purchase all the Western gear their hearts desire.
Frontier Village Western Store, 3611 Elida Road, is closing, but not without first trying to empty its shelves. The store could remain open until Christmas with prices getting better and better as time goes by, owner Mike Sauve said.
Sauve and his wife, Jo, have owned the store for the past 15 years. The store, known for the black and white horse perched on top, has been around since the 1970s. Sauve says business is down because the Western look isn't as popular as it once was.
