Audits find no misspent money
Comments 0 | Recommend 0COLUMBUS - Officials at several local government bodies can breathe easier today, as audits released by Auditor of State Mary Taylor found no improperly spent money.
Local governmental bodies facing audits included Blanchard-Dunkirk-Washington Joint Ambulance District, in Hardin County; City of Kenton, in Hardin County; Hardin County Regional Planning Commission; Coldwater Public Library, in Mercer County; Blanchard Township, in Putnam County; Village of Ottoville, in Putnam County; Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, in Shelby County and Shelby County Regional Planning Commission.
None of the audits indicated findings for recovery, meaning money was properly spent by each of the organizations.
