Fort Loramie (8-2) at Marion Local (10-0)

When Fort Loramie has the ball: Fort Loramie, seeded sixth in the region, is coming off a 50-0 win over Riverside in its final regular season game. The Redskins have outscored their last three opponents 158-0.

Delaunte Thornton leads Fort Loramie with 1,817 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns. The Redskins will run the ball often. On the season, Fort Loramie has rushed for 2,216 yards and passed for 1,619 yards. The Redskins are scoring 40.9 points per game.

Defensively, Marion Local, seeded second, has been stellar this season, holding opponents to 6.4 points per game. The Flyers recorded three shutouts this season.

When Marion Local has the ball: The Flyers have many weapons. Quarterback Adam Berke has been out for a couple weeks with an injury. His status is unknown at this time. So, wide receiver Troy Homan stepped in at quarterback. Running back Jacy Goettemoeller, who has been sidelined, is expected to be in the lineup Saturday. In Marion Local’s 42-6 win over New Bremen last week, Aaron Nietfeld led the Flyers with 228 rushing yards on 18 carries and three scores. On the season, Marion Local is scoring 34 points per game.

Fort Loramie is giving up 11.5 points per outing.
