LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lima Locos scored four times in the ninth inning, finishing one run short of tying the game in a 12-11 loss to the Hustlers on Friday night.
The Locos’ ninth inning included a two-run home run by Dylan Ingram.
Lima had taken a 6-3 lead through six innings but Lexington scored three times in the seventh and six times in the eighth for a 12-7 advantage heading into the top of the ninth.
Ingram finished with three RBIs and Jalen Washington and Matthew Furuto had three hits each also for the Locos. Furoto, Washington, Daniel Garner, Tyler Lynn and D.J. Smith each had an RBI. The Locos’ Matt Morse had two hits.
Lima (2-4) plays again at Lexington at 7 tonight.
