Glandorf Boy Scout Troop 229 inducted 13 members into the Eagle Scout Court of Honor on April 28 during a ceremony at Glandorf St. Johnís Parish Hall gym.

Scouts who earned this honor include Zachary Closson, Colton Haselman, Ben Karhoff, Luke Kleman, Dylan Llewellyn, Jacob Leopold, Ben Recker, Luke Recker, Jason Schnipke, Adam Siefker, Ryan Smith, Mark VonderEmbse and Justin Vorst.

The boys did various projects to qualify to receive their Eagle Scout award. They included:

Zac Closson.

Zac rebuilt and replaced the planter boxes that are around the soccer fields at Glandorf Park.

Colton Haselman

Colton built a new wheel chair ramp for the Mustard Seed at St. John the Baptist Church. He also replaced the old carpet on the porch.

Benjamin Karhoff

Benjamin repaired and re-stained picnic tables, power washed and re-stained shelter houses, power washed and resealed the stamped concrete and repaired and re-stained the golf sign. All of the work was at the Glandorf Park.

Luke Kleman

Luke landscaped in front of St. John the Baptist Church in Glandorf, around the Brotherí Memorial and around the Sisterís Memorial.

Jacob Leopold

Jacob conducted an eight week experiment for the Ohio State University Extension Office. He trapped and recorded the Western Bean Cutworm moth population as it invaded northwest Ohio.

Dylan Llewellyn

Dylan refurbished the concession stands at Deters Park in Glandorf.

Ben Recker, Ben constructed two swinging gates for the alley between the municipal building and the telephone company in Glandorf.

Luke Recker

Luke reroofed the public restroom facility in Glandorf Park.

Jason Schnipke

Jason power washed and sealed the cement wall around St. Johnís shrine in Glandorf.

Adam Siefker

Adam poured four new slabs of concrete and assembled and mounted eight new benches in the cement. He also reroofed the open shelter house, refurbished the map table in the shelter house and made a new back for a bench on one of the shelter houses. All of the work was done at Glandorf Park.

Mark VonderEmbse

Mark designed and built two bicycle racks for the Glandorf Park.

Justin Vorst

Justin renovated the concession stands at Ottawa-Glandorf High School football stadium
