Putnam County Common Pleas Court



Dispositions/March 5



Mount Carmel Health System, Columbus, was granted judgment against Cody J. Kalb, 543 W. Elm St., Lima, in the amount of $317,650.46, plus interest and costs.



Brian O. Rippetoe, 33, 20661 County Road I-18, Cloverdale, was granted a reduction in his jail sentence and released. He was convicted of permitting drug abuse.

Tabbetha M. Scott, Continental, and Steven Scott, Jr., Continental, v. Grange Mutual Casualty Co., Columbus; other civil.



Debra K. Ibarra, Columbus Grove, v. David Ibarra, Columbus Grove; divorce with children.

Dispositions/Feb. 21



Jeffery A. Hoops, 42, P.O. Box 323, Hamler, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension in violation of license restriction. Sentence: 10 days jail, $150 fine, with 10 days jail suspended.

Anthony G. Kohnen, 56, 557 W. Ashton Ave., Lima, charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.



Judgments/March 1



Capital One Bank, Columbus, default judgment v. Charles E. Cox, Ottawa, $2,920.37, plus interest and costs.



Dispositions/March 4



Shawn C. Thatcher, 35, 225 Second St., Latty, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, $100 fine, with 174 days jail suspended and restitution of $500.



Judgments/March 4



Lima Radiological Association, default judgment v. William Smith, Ottawa, $645, plus interest and costs.



Dispositions/March 5



Jennifer M. Donaldson, 32, 1350 N. Locust St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with 30 days jail suspended and completion of alcohol assessment.

Discover Bank, New Albany, default judgment v. Debra C. Bailey, Ottawa, $4,646.41, plus interest and costs.

Village Hardware, Inc., Leipsic, small claims v. Jeff Hoops, Hamler, $917.83, plus interest and costs.

Bryant A. Rose, charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony, bound over to common pleas court. Chad R. Tousley, 31, 106 E. Williamstown Road, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, with 20 days jail suspended and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.
