Overturned semi on interstate prompts lane closure
LIMA -- A tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 75 early Tuesday prompting a brief closure of the northbound lanes.
According to officials with the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 3:28 a.m. on northbound Interstate 75 at Bible Road, north of the state Route 81 exit. Troopers said Robert Brown, 61, of Worthville, Ky., went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, traffic sign and a ditch before overturning.
Brown was taken to Lima Memorial Health System, where his condition was unavailable Tuesday.
Troopers said Brown was cited for failure to control. Troopers said the highway was closed for about a half-hour before at least one lane of travel was restored.
