Electricity restored in most areas

LIMA - Most American Electric Power customers had electricity restored around midnight last night after storms ripped through the region.

As of 12:15 a.m., there were still 279 customers without power in Van Wert County, mostly in Ohio City, Delphos and Convoy areas, after losing power at 8 p.m.

At its peak, Allen County had 3,788 customers without power, mostly in the Harrod/Westminster area and the Northland and Elida area.  Electricity returned around midnight.

The Findlay area had another 124 customers without power in the East Sandusky Area starting at 9:04 p.m. That power was restored around midnight as well.
