Lima police to conduct active shooter training Tuesday

Lima Police are asking the public to not be alarmed by the sights and sounds of training scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at West Middle School.
The training scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. at the school, 503 N. Cable Road, is to simulate an armed intruder, and helps police and staff learn how to handle such a situation, police said.
There will be numerous officers, sirens and other unusual sounds coming from the school that evening, police said.
