Police calls for Friday, Dec. 4, 2009

Police calls as of 11 a.m. Dec. 4 from Allen County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lima Police Department:

700 block of East Michigan Avenue, Lima — A woman reported late Thursday that her ex-boyfriend threatened her.

2250 Harding Highway, Lima —On Thursday, an employee at Kmart reported an individual tried to steal items from the store.

8100 block of Agerter Road, Delphos — A man reported on Tuesday that someone broke into a shed and stole an all-terrain vehicle.

1100 block of North Thayer Road, Lima — Late Wednesday, a man reported his live-in girlfriend punched and slapped him in the head.

700 block of East Second Street, Lima — A 56-year-old woman reported early Friday that someone broke into her house and stole a television.

700 block of Albert Street, Lima — Late Thursday, a 39-year-old man reported he was outside his house when a 1980 Chevrolet Corsica drove by and someone in the car fired five shots at a neighboring house. The 65-year-old woman who lives in the house told police she doesn’t know why anyone would shoot at her house.

400 block of Prospect Avenue, Lima — A 35-year-old woman reported on Thursday that someone broke into her house and stole a video game system.

1 Spartan Way, Lima — On Thursday, a 24-year-old man who was teaching, reported he caught an 18-year-old girl cheating on a test. The girl got mad and threw a chair at him, but missed.
