Man wants sagging pants law

LIMA -- A man seeking an end to sagging pants wants the effort made into a city ordinance.
Jeremy Fouquet, 25, of Lima, has begun a "Pants Around Waist" public awareness campaign.
He spoke to City Council on Monday about putting legislation to a citywide vote on a future ballot. Other communities in Michigan, Florida and New Jersey have laws on the books making sagging pants and the resulting exposure of underwear and buttocks cause for warnings and fines for indecent exposure.
"My family takes pride in this community and I hope you do to," Fouquet said.
