Ottawa police took a 59-year-old Leipsic man into custody following a bomb threat made Saturday morning against the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Ottawa. The threat closed the store but didn't turn up anything suspicious, the Ottawa Police Department reported.

The store received the threat at 11:50 a.m. Saturday. The Ottawa police and fire departments and the Putnam County Sheriff's Office responded. The agencies searched the building but didn't find anything suspicious, so the store reopened. The incident remained under investigation by the Police Department and the Sheriff's Office.

Police took the Leipsic man into custody at 1:30 p.m.
