Police calls as of noon Friday, Dec. 20 from the Lima Police Department and Delphos Police Department:


900 block of Richie Avenue, Lima — A 51-year-old man reported to police on Wednesday that someone broke into his home while he was away. Someone stole two chain saws and an 8-month old pit bull that was caged in the basement.


1200 block of S.Bredeick Street, Delphos — At 10 a.m. Tuesday officers spoke with the victim of a burglary at his residence. Someone had entered his residence and took a small amount of cash. The police department has a possible suspect.


251 Elida Road, Delphos — Officers were dispatched at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday to Dollar General for a shoplifting complaint. The store manager advised he witnessed a 43-year-old man concealing items inside his clothing. Officers viewed video footage of the theft and were able to positively identify the suspect.


800 block of West Skinner Street, Delphos — Officers were dispatched at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday regarding a burglary. The victim said someone entered her residence and took a small amount of jewelry. Police have a possible suspect and the Detective Bureau will be following up on this investigation.
