McCOMB — The McComb Police Department is reporting that a grand jury is accepting charges of felony burglary on Christian German Moreno, of McComb.

Moreno is charged with entering the home of Tanner Grose at 1:45 a.m. Oct. 22. Grose called 911 reporting that someone broke into the house and also reported shooting the person. McComb Police Chief Greg Smith, on his way to the scene, noticed a person matching the description of the robber.

This person, later identified as Moreno, was discovered to have suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, requiring treatment. Moreno was jailed at the Hancock County Justice Center on other charges after his treatment.

No charges will be filed against Grose.
