FINDLAY — A single-vehicle accident sent a teen driver to the hospital Saturday morning, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

At 10:58 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on state Route 103 west of state Route 698 in Van Buren Township. A 17-year-old girl from Arlington was driving west on state Route 103 when she went off the north side of the road. After overcorrecting, she lost control and drove off the south side of the road, striking a cable junction box before traveling into a field. Once entering the field, the vehicle rolled several times, ejecting the driver.

The girl was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, where her condition was unavailable late Saturday. She was not wearing a seat belt.
