The bridge on McBride Road, between Piquad and Zion Church roads, in Amanda Township has failed its latest inspection.

Allen County Bridge Engineer Brion Rhodes said Thursday the bridge will be closed immediately and will remain closed until the county can come up with the money to repair it.

The Ream Road bridge, between Amherst and Auglaize County Line roads in Perry Township, has also begun to deteriorate and will be posted with a 10 ton load limit sign, Rhodes said.
