CELINA — Celina Police Department reported that several suspects were facing charges in connection with a drug bust and raid during a party Saturday night.

Officials received a complaint of suspicious activity at a motel room in the America’s Best Value Inn. Officers checked the registered occupant of the room, Lonnie Spence, 21, of Celina, and began observing the area. A vehicle belonging to Spence was located on East Market Street where it was stopped near the intersection of state Route 703.

A small amount of marijuana was found in the car. Spence was in possession of more than 30 grams of heroin and held on a second-degree felony charge. Danny Steen was wanted on a probation violation and was held. A third passenger, Jeremy Sholler, 22, was held on a parole violation. The driver of the car was not held.

Officers then moved to the motel room Spence had rented. There they found two girls and a woman. There was marijuana, pills and heroin found in the motel room, along with a .22-caliber handgun. The two girls, ages 15 and 16, were released pending charges. The woman, Alecksa Howell, 18, was charged with illegal possession of a prescription drug. She was also held in the Mercer County Jail.
