LIMA — Police have arrested a 19-year-old Lima man in the April 1 shooting at a downtown Lima bar.Michael G. Thompson turned himself in Monday on a warrant issued for illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premise, Maj. Tony Swygart of the Lima Police Department said Monday in a prepared statement. Thompson is a suspect in the shooting incident at Marko's Bar, 701 S. Main St., in the early hours of April 1. Thompson was listed as one of four people injured in the 1:20 a.m. incident, according to previous reports.Police said the shootings followed an argument inside Marko's. Officers responding to the incident said a large number of people left the bar and drove off.Investigators recovered a Heckler & Koch 9 mm handgun at the scene.Jaishaun Ball, 24, and Jacquavious R. Cartwright, 24, both of Lima, and Rabih H. Taleb, 27, of Wapakoneta, also were injured. All four were treated at area hospitals.A warrant for another suspect also has been issued, police said. Dominique K. Durr, 22, also faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm in a bar.Durr was the victim of an early-morning shooting incident two years ago in Lima. Around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 12, 2010, Durr was shot once in the chest in the 600 block of East Third Street. He was admitted to St. Rita's Medical Center in serious condition.Durr told investigators he was walking when gunshots rang out from between two houses. Detective Jim Baker said at the time investigators did not believe it was a random shooting.In November 1998 in Lima Municipal Court, Durr pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and was fined $150, according to court records.Durr remained at large Monday evening, Swygart said.
