CELINAInvestigators from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation were investigating an apparent suicide Wednesday.Chief Deputy Gery Thobe, of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, said the office received a 911 call at 10:29 a.m. from Michael Godbold that his ex-wife, Christina R. Godbold, 45, of 8281 state Route 49, Celina, had shot herself with a 12-gauge shotgun.Thobe said just hours earlier, at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to the house on report of a domestic situation between the two. Michael Godbold was arrested at that time for domestic violence and booked into the Mercer County Detention Center, where he later posted bail and was released.
