1 injured in Hancock crash

HANCOCK COUNTY One woman was taken to a hospital after a rear-end crash Saturday.


The crash happened at 12:45 p.m. Saturday on state Route 103 at Interstate 75 in Hancock County. Chelsy Nutt, 18, of Lima, was a passenger in a car driven by Crystal L. Hollar. Nutt was taken to Lima Memorial Health System with non-life-threatening injuries, the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.


Hollar, 22, of Lima, was driving east on Route 103 when she struck a car driven by Angie N. Emans, 37, of Bluffton, who was also driving her car east on state Route 103. Emans was stopped for traffic waiting to turn on I-75, the state patrol reported.


Hollar was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance.
