Hancock County crash injures four

VANLUE — Four people were taken to local hospitals Monday night following a two-car accident near Vanlue.



The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Findlay post responded to the scene around 10 p.m. Monday, near the intersection of state Route 15 and county Road 196. The crash occurred when Patsy Puff, 46, of Vanlue, failed to yield when driving from state Route 15 onto county Road 196. As a result, Mark Matthews, 59, of Delaware, struck Puff’s vehicle.



Matthews and his passenger, Gail Matthews, and Puff and her passenger, Clayton Puff, all were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.



The Vanlue Fire Department, Hancock EMS, Miller’s Towing and Keebler’s Towing assisted at the scene.
