OTTAWA - A trial date has been set for Nov. 4 for Michael Fay, accused of the murder of two Ottawa teens. A pre-trial will be held Sept. 10.
Fay, 17, is charged with two counts of aggravated murder; two counts of abuse of a corpse; one count of tampering with evidence; and one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle in the May 9 deaths of Blaine Romes, 14, and Blake Romes, 17.
He appeared briefly Thursday morning in Putnam County Common Pleas Court.
The brothers were living with Fay in an Ottawa trailer with their mothers, Michelle Grothause and Vicki Fay. The families had recently moved in together.
