LIMA — More than a dozen homes were vandalized at the Country Club Hills Twin Lakes neighborhood over the weekend.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, vandals spray painted on garage doors, vehicles and license plates sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Some of the spray painting contained obscene language and vulgar images.

“It looks like they went through the neighborhood … and started spray painting whatever they could,” said Allen County Sheriff Sam Crish.

Crish said his office received 17 phone calls. At least eight police reports were made, spanning from Barnsbury Drive to Sunnymeade Lane and Winston Court.

“It doesn’t look like anybody in particular was targeted,” he said.

The cost of the damage wasn't determined Monday.

Anyone who saw something suspicious in the neighborhood that night is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 419-227-3535.
