One of the trials for an Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority receptionist has been pushed back until April 10.

Cheryl Lawson was scheduled to stand trial Thursday on the charge of obstructing official business. Her trial has been rescheduled for April 18 with a final pretrial April 10.

Lawson is accused of blocking an office entrance and impeding police officers trying to enter the agency during a raid.

Lawson also is charged with falsification and workers’ compensation fraud. She is scheduled to stand trial March 21 with a final pretrial for March 13. Those charges are for a claim she filed that was denied by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
