LIMA — A Lima woman was robbed at gunpoint in Lima when she was going into her place of work Monday night.
Erin R. Watson, an employee of Champaign Residential, was in her car around 11 p.m. at 1802 Norval Avenue getting ready to exit it and go inside, when she said two men approached her car. She said one of the men stuck a gun toward her and demanded she hand over her purse and other personal belongings.
Watson complied, hoping the men would leave her alone. The two men took off running, leaving her without a purse or the keys to her car.
She reported she lost her purse, wallet, Ohio driver’s license, Chase debit car, her birth certificate and her three children’s birth certificates, $20 in cash, her iPhone 5 cellphone, her car keys, her Social Security card and her silver wedding band from the robbery.
Lima Police Department officials were looking into the incident.
