FINDLAY - Several people were injured in a two-vehicle injury crash on state Route 37 at state Route 15 in Hancock County on Monday afternoon, according to the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Walter Saunder II, 78, of Clinton Township, Mich., drove a 2007 Chevy pickup westbound on state Route 15 and exited onto state Route 37, stopping at the stop sign at the top of the ramp. He then failed to yield the right of way, pulling into the path of a 2005 Ford F150 driven by Joan Bash, 59, of Mount Blanchard.

Saunders and his passenger weren't injured in the crash. There were multiple people in Bash's vehicle transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS. The patrol couldn't identify the age or identity of those occupants.

Saunder received a citation for failing to yield from a stop sign. The crash remains under investigation, but the post said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
