FINDLAY A diesel spill on Interstate 75 caused several vehicles to crash Saturday.

No one was injured in the crashes, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

One crash happened at 4:41 p.m. when a car driven by 21-year-old William S. Hebble, of Shelby, crashed while traveling south on the Interstate, the state patrol reported.

Hebble started to exit onto U.S. 68 when he lost control and struck a sign. The spill on the road contributed to the crash, the patrol reported.

An investigation revealed a 2012 International tractor-trailer operated by Timothy Steele, 45, of Canal Winchester, had just passed through the exit and was spilling diesel fuel on the road, the state patrol reported.

Two other vehicles traveling on the interstate went off the roadway near the spill site, the patrol reported.
