Police calls as of 10:05 a.m. Thursday, April 4 from the Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima Police Department:



2500 block of Coon Road, Lima On Wednesday, a 37-year-old man reported a maintenance employee who was excavating a drainage ditch and knocking down trees when the machine got caught up on guidelines, pulling down several utility poles.



600 North Sugar Street, Lima On Wednesday, a Shelly Materials employee reported two car batteries stolen from the business.



1800 block of University Avenue, Lima On Wednesday, a 76-year-old man reported another person filed taxes using his Social Security number.



200 block of North Elizabeth Street, Lima On Wednesday, a 34-year-old woman found a 69-year-old man deceased in his bathroom.



1900 block of Clyde Avenue, Lima On Wednesday, a 55-year-old woman reported her boyfriend slapped her across the face.



300 block of South Leonard Avenue, Lima On Wednesday, deputies were dispatched in reference to an unwanted person who was highly intoxicated.
