GOMER A teenager and his brother escaped a crash with minor injuries over the weekend.

The crash happened at 9:20 p.m. Saturday on Gomer Road just south of Bussert Road. Benjamin Ingle, 18, was driving south on Gomer road when he failed to properly negotiate the curve and drove off the left side of the road, the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

He continued off the road until striking a utility pole. The car flipped on its top. Ingle and his 12-year-old brother, Shawn Ingle, were taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center and treated for minor injuries, the Patrol reported.
