OTTAWA — The Putnam County Health Department is reporting there has been 12 hospitalized cases of Influenza this season, compared to two cases last year at this time.
Physicians can do a rapid test for influenza in their offices and have notified the health department that at least 59 lab confirmed cases have been identified. More than 240 people have been seen by physicians with influenza like symptoms. Typically Ohio has the most cases of influenza reported from January through March.
