FINDLAY — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office responded Friday to a two-vehicle crash that injured a 61-year-old man.

John C. Bower, of Bluffton, was driving southwest on County Road 313 in Union Township when he blacked out, the Sheriff’s Office said. Bower went across the center line and off the south side of the road near a cell phone tower and hit the rear of a pickup truck that was not occupied. Bower’s truck stopped when it hit a ditch. He was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries.
