Teen ejected, dies in crash

KENTON -- A 19-year-old Hardin County man was killed Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle rollover crash in rural Hardin County. Cody A. Trent, of rural Kenton, was southbound on township Road 133, just north of township Road 220, at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday when his 1995 Dodge pickup truck went off the right side of the road over a private drive before rolling several times and striking a utility pole, a guide wire, an address sign and a private fence, troopers from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. Trent was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected while the truck was rolling.Deputies from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and rescue workers from Logan County also responded to the crash and assisted at the scene, along with a medical helicopter.
