ADA - Ada Police Department arrested a woman in connection to a stabbing that occurred over the weekend.
Brian Lajoie, 28, of Ada, called police after he was stabbed in the back of the shoulder blade Sunday. He said the stabbing happened following an early morning altercation.
Lajoie was taken to Lima Memorial Health System by Ada/Liberty Rescue Squad, where his condition was unknown Monday.
Police arrested Mercedes S. Mullins, 21, of Alger, on Monday. She is currently charged with tampering with evidence; other charges are pending. Mullins is being incarcerated at the Multi-County Correctional Centerin Marion.
