MARIA STEINOfficials with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will host a pair of meetings Monday for farmers working in the distressed Grand Lake St. Marys watershed.Staff from ODNR, along with the Mercer and Auglaize Soil and Water Conservation Districts, will present information on what actions farmers and landowners in the watershed need to implement and what records need to be kept to remain in compliance with the distressed watershed rules.The meetings will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. at the Maria Stein Legion Hall, 8140 state Route 119, Maria Stein. Staff will be available from 11 a.m. to noon and 7 to 8 p.m. to provide one-on-one comprehensive nutrient management plan questions.Preregistration in not required.
