VAN WERTTwo people remained hospitalized Sunday after a two-car crash Saturday evening in Van Wert County.The Van Wert post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said their investigation was continuing Sunday into the 6 p.m. crash on state Route 116 at Ringwald Road, just southwest of Middle Point.Eileen L. Manken, 56, of Van Wert, was eastbound on Route 116 when a car driven south on Ringwald by Morgan K. Pugh, 17, of Venedocia, failed to yield to Manken’s vehicle at the intersection, the patrol said.The vehicles collided, and rolled several times before coming to rest in a field, troopers said.Manken was flown by helicopter to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. Pugh was taken by ambulance to Van Wert County Hospital and then was flown to Parkview.A nurse supervisor at Parkview said Manken was in critical condition Sunday afternoon, while Pugh was in serious condition.A passenger in Manken’s vehicle, Charles K. Johnson, was treated at, and then released from Parkview.
