DELPHOS

A man is accused of pushing his wife out of a moving vehicle Sunday in downtown Delphos.

According to Delphos police, the incident occurred around 9:19 p.m. near the intersection of North Clay and West Third streets. Police said Randall Murray, 55, of Delphos, pushed his wife out of a moving vehicle in that area. Another family member in the vehicle was able to exit before it sped away.

Murray’s wife told police he also had threatened another relative at their residence.

Van Wert County deputies and Delphos police officers were dispatched to Murray’s rural home, where he was arrested and taken to Van Wert County Jail.

The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the additional domestic violence charge.
